Therapeutic Massage & Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic Massage

What is it?

Therapeutic massage & therapeutic exercise are hands-on manual therapies that can be used alone or in conjunction with Chiropractic Care to increase blood and lymph flow and to decrease muscle pain and spasm. Using these therapies with Chiropractic Care can speed recovery time, improve joint and muscle motion, reverse poor posture, and release trigger points. Also frequently implemented are customized exercise recommendations and trainings including strength training, stability training, rehab and PT-like exercises, stress reduction with help from breathing training, stretching, yoga, and postural correction exercises.

How does it work?

By increasing blood flow to the muscles we can increase healing. Certain techniques focus on the loosening of adhesions and scar tissue which can restrict motion and cause pain and inflammation.

Who would benefit?

Those with pain, stress, new or old injuries, desk jobs, or jobs with repetitive motions, athletes, and pregnant women.

At Two Hands, we often use therapeutic massage and therapeutic exercise to address:
